Upon completion of the course students should have the ability to:
Kunskap och förståelse
- describe the origins and contemporary conceptualisations of co-production in health and welfare
- identify co-production and related concepts as enacted at the micro-, meso- as well as macro-system levels
- understand the mechanisms underlying successful co-production processes
- understand the contributions and experiences of patients and citizens in co-producing health.
Färdighet och förmåga
- examine co-production in daily practice from legal, political and ethical perspectives
- understand how co-production and related concepts can be applied in quality improvement work
- critically appraise methods of co-production and related concepts as applied at the micro-. meso-, and macro-system levels.

- critically review and evaluate own achievements related to intended learning outcomes
- reflect upon personal experiences and commitment to co-production in practice, improvement work and research.

Undervisningsformer
The course is web-based with discussion and seminars through the web-based platform.
Undervisningen bedrivs på engelska.
Förkunskapskrav
The applicant must hold the minimum of a bachelor's degree (i.e. the equivalent of 180 ECTS credits at an accredited university) within health sciences, behavioral science, social work, educational sciences or equivalent. Proof of English proficiency is required (eller motsvarande kunskaper).
Examination och betyg
Kursen bedöms med betygen A, B, C, D, E, FX eller F.
Examination of the course consists of participation in seminars, an individually written assignment, seminars including critical reviews of a fellow student's assignment, and an individually written reflection assignment.
The course examiner is senior university lecturer.

Attendance requirements
Mandatory attendance of course introduction and seminars using the online web-based platform. Microphone headset to be used in seminars online.
The teaching is conducted in English, but Swedish students may write their exams in Swedish.
