Upon completion of the course the student should have the ability to:

- describe human behavior from a biopsychosocial perspective
- describe neurological structures of importance to human behavior
- describe normal human psychological development and central personality theories
- account for social psychological factors and the importance of motivation for human behavior
- explain relationships between psychological factors and health, illness and well-being
- explain the course of crises and the significance of treatment for people in crisis.

The examination will be based on one individual examination and written assignments.
University lecturer serves as the course examiner.
