Upon completion of the course the student should have the ability to:
Knowledge and understanding
- describe human behavior from a biopsychosocial perspective
- describe neurological structures of importance to human behavior
- describe normal human psychological development and central personality theories
- account for social psychological factors and the importance of motivation for human behavior
- explain relationships between psychological factors and health, illness and well-being
- explain the course of crises and the significance of treatment for people in crisis.

- apply psychological theories to issues/situations within your own profession.

Additionally, approximately 100 pages course literature will be added according to course coordinators' instructions.
