On completion of the course, the student should
Knowledge and understanding
- demonstrate an understanding of key concepts in compositing mathematics and knowledge of the photographic process and the medium's various artefacts
- demonstrate a basic understanding of the scripting language Python
- demonstrate an understanding of work processes and work methodology within compositing to evaluate the consequences of a problem and optimise the work
Skills and abilities
- demonstrate skills to independently apply the methodology of compositing software and processing of data sets by given directives.
- demonstrate the ability to eliminate and / or recreate various photographic phenomena in plates
- demonstrate the ability to individually apply different methods of keying and integration of digital material.
- demonstrate skills to script basic tools to streamline the workflow and work process in the compositing software
Contents
The course is a technical and artistic advancement in Compositing. The advancement includes methods, analysis, and solution-oriented tasks.
The course contains the following elements:

The teaching is conducted in English.
Prerequisites
General entry requirements and completion of the course Post production I, 6 credits or equivalent (or the equivalent).
