On completion of the course, the student should

Knowledge and understanding

- demonstrate knowledge of the production process and its application in CGI productions
- demonstrate knowledge of relevant calculation methodologies for projects within CGI

Skills and abilities

- demonstrate an ability to plan projects and independently time estimate profile specific tasks
- demonstrate skills to identify problem areas in production and formulate actions based on a solution-oriented attitude
- demonstrate the ability to calculate cost for a CGI production

- demonstrate an understanding of time estimation and assess outcomes to consider redistribution /change of tasks and division of labour

Contents

The course acts as a bridge between practical work and its connection to an external client. Based on the fundamental processes that apply to the delivery of CGI productions, projects are to be planned, produced and regularly communicated internally and externally with a solution-oriented attitude.
The course contains the following elements:
- Project planning

- Time estimation
- Division of labour
- Customer contact
- The approval process
- Cost- and revenue analytical concepts and methods
